Next week we will be going over some major issues facing both colleges and the Fraternal movement currently, topics that are emotional, intense and can have very strong opinions associated with them. I look forward to having this class with you, and I hope that we can work together to create an open and honest atmosphere to discuss these topics: diversity, GLBT members of Greek Life, hazing, alcohol abuse, sexual assualt, congruence with university missions, and other topics.
Please find below links to some readings that we will be discussing next week. They are not all required, but I would encourage you to read as many as you are able before class to help move the discussion along. Also, I will hopefully be bringing in a panel to help us discuss these major issues in Greek Life currently. These are some contentious topics and I hope that the panel can help shed more light on to how these issues affect the Fraternal movement. Check out Josh's latest blogs for your other assignments and blog posts that will also be discussed next week!
Thanks guys!
